Customizable Chess Set Small Base

Chess piece bases that can be topped with whatever models you want to make a themed chess set. These small chess piece bases can be used with any models you have or find to create unique themed chess sets with existing models. Using a printed D shaped pin (d-pin) and the “negative volume” feature in your slicer you can add the necessary geometry to any model. The Bases are 35mm or 1.375” so they can be used with a number of chess boards. The bases have unique designs that try to capture the look of traditional chess pieces but the pieces are also marked with a letter corresponding to the piecesK-King (x1)Q-Queen (x1)B-Bishop (x2)N-Knight (x2)R-Rook (x2)P-Pawn (x8)Start by printing the d-pin and 2x d-pin test parts. Ensure that these snap together and stay in place. Adjust d-pin scale up it down to get a tight fit. Then you can print the bases.
