This is a remix of the 3d Printer Enclosure Brackets by fitz101. These are done in SCAD with customizable settings for board size, wall thickness, and dimensions.
The default object is sized for 5/8ths Firecode Core Sheetrock, which makes an excellent cheap material for a printer enclosure (fire prevention, and excellent noise containment.).
I use a board Thickness of 17.5mm for 5/8ths as that gives a tight enough fit for the sheetrock, while allowing space for "liquid nails" glue.
I print with supports for this size and larger, smaller sizes avoid the need for supports.
There are only "Top" brackets to start, but I will add other variants as I go.
Thanks fitz101, for the inspiration!
