Customizable Key Knob

Someone on Reddit was requesting help to have someone generate a knob that they could [semi-]permanently mount their mailbox key in because they had no modelling skills yet developed. I knew I could fairly quickly get something working for them in OpenSCAD so I decided to give it a go. This is the result. You can customize many aspects of the resulting knob. In particular, you can choose the diameter and then you can decide if the knob is simply round, or if it had rounded protrusions for extra grip. You can set the size and depth of the slot. You can enable and define a label. You can enable and locate a hole to insert some spare filament into and through the key hole to help lock it in place. In testing this idea, I made two prints for two different of my keys. I will include those as print profiles.
