This is a project that I wanted to do for a while: a way to switch my three morse code keys between multiple radios. Using the Universal Project Box by zx82net, I modified it for my purposes. There are two versions of the box:
The first version is to use M3 screws, 6mm to 12mm long to self tap.
The second version is to use threaded inserts.
There are openings for four different radios (labelled one through four) using 1/4" phono plugs. For connecting the keys, there are three sets of openings for RCA, 1/4", and 1/8" plugs so you can use many of the different types of cables used for keys. Technically, you can have up to nine keys connected.
The selector knob allows you to select up to four different radios.
Note that all of the key connecters are soldered together, whereas the phono plugs for the radio are not connected together.
I used the following parts:
1/4" Phono Plugs - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MT66VPX?
RCA Panel Female Sockets - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SS7JDLN
1/8
