This is an alternative to my previous model of Dell Dock Mount that was for HSW (still available here) however I have moved away from that system and now use the openGrid architecture from @David D for my storage. I have also got into @Hands on Katie's underware which has been adapted for openGrid by @David D too. I wanted to mount my Dell dock directly to the openGrid so adapted my earlier model with some of the snaps that are available. I have also modified this model to reduce it's thickness so that the dock doesn't sit so high making it easier to put the cables into the open channels from underware - so the fixings have changed from cap head to countersunk bolts - M2.5x8mm. The plate requires a little force to inset into the openGrid as I used 4 snaps, my dock hangs upside-down under my desk so I didn't want it to drop off unexpectedly. If anyone would like a openGrid lite version please let me know in the comments and I will swap the snaps over.
