A cooling duct designed for a large Delta Printer (1M in height) with 455 mm 2020 horizontal extrusions (RobotDigg 2040 corners). The housing is for a Beaglebone Black and Replicape mounted to an 0.09" aluminum plate that functions as a heatsink for the power supply and SSR (beneath the heated bed. Fan conduit is designed to accomodate two 30mm x 30mm x 10mm fans to push air across the printer controller and stepper drivers, isolating it from the heated bed and stepper motors.
Two sets of fan grills mount to inside of 2020 extrusions with M3 screws and the grill covers mount on the exterior with M5 x 8mm screws. You should plan to have plenty of M3 screws to hold it all together.
Fan wiring may require the use of a dremel until I plan the most effective wire path (I am leaning towards a subtle notch on the top conduit cover.
I have used Sunon 30mm fans, part # MC30101V2-000U-A99. The specs state 4.6 CFM which should provide adequate airflow when two are used in para
