Digital Cuckoo Clock

My son longed for a cuckoo clock for Christmas. So I've designed one in Onshape and used the mechanical parts from Deulis Morden Cuckoo Clock. The housing is designed in the way that the Deulis parts fit. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4161924/files) I had to design the pusher a bit shorter to prevent the doors from touching the roof.

The hardware I've used:
- ESP32-S3
- about 20k light dependent resistor
- 8x8 ws2812 5050 matrix like this one (65.3mm x 66.5mm): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EHVhGPK
- 9g micro servo
- a small bird from easter decoration as star of the show

I've printed all in PETG. The softbox should be printed in white with a color change after 1mm to black. (Also tried transparent but that was not soft enough). All parts are glued together with hot glue.

Assembly tip:
Once you have connected the rack with the doors via the pushers, you can gently squish the top of the pins with a soldering iron to lock them in place.
