A common sight in arcades, game shows and a favorite training tool of many militaries, hardlight simulations are a commonly available technology across the quadrant at varying levels of fidelity. While the most impressive simulators guzzle intense amounts of power to render details indistinguishable from real life, cheaper low power simulators function only in blocky, low polygon outlines, despite this, these simulations still run on hardlight technology allowing sabers to physically clash and shots to truly connect. With enough safety features disabled these simulations can turn from training areas to truly deadly life or death games of survival.
