Dipole Emitter Waves

This is a wave pattern captured by an online ripple tank simulator set for a dipole-type emitter, each end of the dipole putting out the opposite phase from the other.

Patterns were captured as an image file and converted to 3d as described in my other wave pics.

Change the vertical scaling to give gentle waves or soaring peaks. Be sure to put a couple solid layers beneath, or it will print with holes at the excitation point. Lowering the model in the printer can create "screens" with wave patterns.
