Dish organizer riser

Riser footing for a dish organizer (or other vinyl-covered wire storage device).

We have a dish organizer that had hooks for coffee cups. Unfortunately, the cups did not swing freely when we tried to hang them from the organizer. Instead, the the handle was on the hook, but the cup rested partly on the shelf. Often, the handle would work loose and the cup was only held in place by the other cups nearby.

To remedy, this issue, I devised this riser which fits around the vinyl-covered wire that the organizer is made of (pretty standard issue). I made 8 of them for medium-sized organizer. It raises the whole unit by about 15mm. One nice feature is that once you place the riser on the organizer, it loosely hangs on, if you ever have to move the organizer.
