SummaryIt is a DIY rotary module compatible with Snapmaker 2.0.The module has the full functionality of the original rotary module, same speed, is correctly recognized by the Snapmaker 2.0 controller, etc. However, I used a larger size chuck 3 jaw and a more powerful stepper motor. The total weight (with a tailstock) is 2.17 kg - less than the original rotary module (2.4 kg).The total cost of all components was less than 140 €.To make a tailstock I also used these two M8 knobs :https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:641854Detailed information about the mechanical and electronic components that I used in this project can be found in the following video and its description.Edit:I used G-code generated from CAM Fusion 360 to mill the base plate.Probably for many people it will be easier to use a simple drilling template. At the request of several users, I added a dedicated DXF vector file.Print SettingsPrinter: Snapmaker 2.0 A350 Rafts: NoSupports: No Resolution: Layer High 0.2 mmInfill: 33 %Fila
