Dovetail Locks

Quick little idea I came up with for my Stormtrooper calves, I hated the velcro and also the hooks and elastic methods, so I made this. One piece gets glued to each side of the armor leg, gauntlet, etc and has a hole down the center for a rod made from a coat hanger to lock the two together. It worked so well, that I printed more, cut them down a bit and used them on the kidney to ab connections also. The parts fit pretty tight after printing, I played with size percentages, but it didn't work, I just print both at 100% and sand them a bit, good, because you can sand from a tight fit, on down to an easier fit.
