Dragonfly-people

This is actually the result of randomized monster-creation during one of my solo-campaigns. They mostly resemble giant dragonflies without wings, but with comparatively sturdy legs, walking mostly on their hind-legs, but on all six, if they need to be fast. Their legs end in strong pincers, with which they are able to grab and pin their opponents during fights and even carry a grown human. Their tails end in a stinger, which contains a paralysing poison. As the tail moves rather slow, they struggle to paralyse a moving victim and therefore will usually try to grab it first. The leaders actually have wings, but are rather cumbersome flyers compared to "real" giant dragonflies.
I called them (rather unoriginally) symprets and liked them enough to turn them into a recurring foe in my homebrew world as a very strange and unknown enemy, that is clearly intelligent and sentient, but thinks very different from other sentient creatures.
