The Drawstring Clamp was designed within the Engineering Program at Seattle Pacific University.
It enables one to squeeze down on a drawstring using their attachment to a prosthetic hand and frees the other hand to move the string that is attached to the drawstring. This is helpful for people who wear shoes without laces because they do not have two free hands to tie their shoes. Some athletic shoes tighten by cinching a drawstring, and this attachment will allow a person to do so. This is also useful for jackets that tighten in the hood or at the bottom of the jacket.
