I wanted to design a fun flyer. Something small that I could fly around the local parks and was durable. My other goal was to make it easy to 3D print. What I came up with is lack-lusterly called DroneOne. The frame was designed around the Tattu 2S 450mAh battery (SKU: A-75C-450-2S1P-L-XT30), to use 2" props, and 1103 motors (though upgrading the frame for 1104-1106 would be trivial). Highly recommend printing in Taulman 910 filament as it is MUCH more durable than my previous prints in ABS. I can print all the parts for this drone in about 2 hours (printing the main frame in one print, then the motor mounts and camera mount in another). The camera mount ended up a bit soft, so I usually just wrap a rubber band around it for added strength. All in all it is a fun flyer that can bounce off trees and keep on flying!
