This tool allows you to quickly mark down a pitch circle diameter on, for example, a flange.
The "centre" piece bolts to the "plate" piece.
Thus the tool is self centering on a flange. As long as the centre hole is accurately machined.
The location of holes required can then be marked off.
The centre sections provided are sized to 40mm-43mm.
The plate gives a 4 hole pattern, at 20mm - 60mm in 10mm increments, in addition, there are markings for the diameters +3mm and +6mm. i.e. 4 holes at 33mm, 4 holes at 56mm are possible, along with other permutations of the sizes marked.
Sketchup files are provided for any alterations you may require.
