+++++ top-V3 Update-Fixed the bulge where the power wires stick out from the board and run back into it. No more need to chisel out, or pocket knife, or dremel out a recess.
In the photo of it, the battery is not snapped down in its slot yet. I have not cut the power wire yet and it's my smoke detector battery. So it's going back where it came from. Battery snaps in extra tight an don't want to have to fight it back out. Ipad had trouble with the unit on so picture is with it off. Works great. Really like that little bugger :)
Bought this electronic tester on ebay for 14 bucks and it is truly amazing. Wish they had such item and price when i was learning electronics. It checks about all but integrated components. Works great as far as i've seen. Don't have on hand other testers to cross check, but normally what you need is just a good bad test and this thing does that and a lot more. Will find transistor pin out check for npn or pnp beta and frequency check ect. All components
