Nice empty spool stand. A simple and convenient way to store all those empty spools you have laying around waiting to use in the perfect project. There are 2 versions of the Stand (base), version 1 is lighter and uses less material. Version 2 is larger, stronger, and uses more material. Depending on how high you are planning to stack the spools will effect your decision on which to print. I have mine stacked over 6' (182cm) for which i would recommend version 2. If you stack them less than 4' (122cm) you should be ok with version 1. Version 2 is strong enough to lift from the top of the rod with 28 spools stacked. I haven't tried, but it is probably strong enough to hold that many horizontal too. I also included on plate3 some sample prints you can use to test how easy it is to assemble the joints.I have included the .step files in case you want to remix. The threading is metric standard m30x3.5, but with .15mm offset faces to make it easier to connect. I can think of many things that
