Nice empty spool stand. A simple and convenient way to store all those empty spools you have laying around waiting to use in the perfect project. There are 2 versions of the Stand (base), version 1 is lighter and uses less material. Version 2 is larger, stronger, and uses more material. Depending on how high you are planning to stack the spools will effect your decision on which to print. I have mine stacked over 6' (182cm) for which i would recommend version 2. If you stack them less than 4' (122cm) you should be ok with version 1. Version 2 is strong enough to lift from the top of the rod with 28 spools stacked. I haven't tried, but it is probably strong enough to hold that many horizontal too. I also included on plate3 some sample prints you can use to test how easy it is to assemble the joints. I have included the .step files in case you want to remix. The threading is metric standard m30x3.5, but with .15mm offset faces to make it easier to connect. I can think of many things that
