This is a bracket for mounting one of those micro endstop switches to 8mm smooth rod. I originally intended to use this style mount for the z axis but It worked well and I ended up using it on the x axis as well. These little switches (pictured above) have a body that measures about 13mm long x 5.8mm wide x 6.2 tall. I designed this bracket in three pieces so that it could be printed without support material and the assembly is pretty straight forward. Use 2 3mm x 10mm bolts to fix the switch receiver piece to the main body of the bracket (or just glue these together with a bit of epoxy as they will not need to be separated again) and 4 3mm x 20mm bolts to capture the cap/saddle around the smooth rod. I have found that this makes a rock solid connection, I have not had one slip yet.
