A very compact enclosure / case for a room sensor using a ESP32 C3 Super Mini board with a SCD4x (SCD40 / SCD41) module for temperature, humidity and CO2 sensing. Prints in PLA or PETG without supports, about 20 minutes for a high-quality print. Fits the standard ESP32-C3 SuperMini board (22,52 × 18mm) with the typical SCD4x module on top (13,4 × 21,6mm). The ESP32 is press-fit into the enclosure, use a tiny dab of hot glue if necessary. You can push it back out using the bottom hole if needed later. The SCD4x is held on top using pin headers. When ordering and assembling, make sure the pin alignment matches - you want the module's GND to match ESP32 GND, module's VCC to ESP32 3.3V, and SDA / SCL to pins 3 / 4. Solder a female 4-pin header on one board and a matching male header on the other. Check picture 3 for orientation. The SCD4x module should sit upside-down on top of the ESP32. Again, double-check the pin assignment - the GND pin is the second pin in the ESP32 row. ESPHome sampl
