Design objectives:
- all parts of the module are covered in the housing
- still all features accessible from outside (Camera itself, flash LED, pins, reset button, SD card)
- sufficient cooling
- reliable mounting options
Tested on three modules, thus some slot holes in the final version to fit most universally.
Required components besides the two printed parts:
- wrover esp32-cam module
- two nuts M5
- four screws, 60° head, M3x16 (screwed directly into the plastic)
For best firmware I found for this module, please refer to this GitHub repository:
https://github.com/v12345vtm/timelapse-ESP32-CAM
This includes support for cam, SD card, flash LED and time lapse recording.
(Many thanks to v12345vtm and jimvzee!)
Update:
Added photo of little PCB I made.
This plugs into the module - even when module is in the housing - for serial debugging or programming (little switch to pull pin 0 low for programming)
