Had time and lots of parts lying around so I moved my old A6 to an aluminum frame.
Wanted to go to 24V anyway so i used a spare MKS Gen 1.4 board I had here. (updated mks tinybee now)

You can stick to A6 parts 12V if you don´t want to buy new electronics.
Used an aluminum plate for the bottom, drilled holes and cut 3mm thread for PC mainboard spacers.
So all electronics (mainboard, pi, mosfets ...) are mounted within the body covered with plexiglass top.
I also used a custom build mount for Y axis to make the bed can move a lot more forward and back.

...

lots of drilling, printing, buying but result is quite good. Of course buying a new printer is cheaper, made it more fur fun project :)
hope you can use some of the parts.
