This is an experimental split ring/harmonic planetary gearbox; Sun gear is the input, output is the top ring which has 2 more teeth than the ring below - each revolution of the carrier (planets) will move the outer ring by 1 tooth.
This is still experimental as i can't find or access suitable documentation on this type of gearing reduction.

Keep in mind that i didn't include the planet carrier because i'm still working on exact gear spacing, which isn't as trivial as it sounds because of 2 different modules i used to align ring diameters.

Some technical data:

Bottom(fixed) ring teeth: 56
Top(output) ring teeth: 58
Sun teeth: 24
Planet teeth: 16

Bottom ring module: 1.5mm
Top ring module: 1.45mm
Planet module: 1.45mm
Sun module: 1.5mm

I will be updating this project with real pictures soon, and if this turns out successful i'll be completing the design and sharing it.

NOTE: Designed to be mounted on NEMA23 standard motor

UPDATE: Added a video of the prototyp
