Eye Model

This model is a hollowed cross-section of the human eye.

1) It is recommended that the eye model is printed at a size of at least 170% to allow for better print of the smaller details. The bigger the model, the less missing parts for the thin veins.

2) For minimized bleeding of darker colours (such as black, blue and red) into lighter colours,it is recommended that users set the variable transition lengths to strong and increase the “maximum transition length” (Project Settings>Transition>Variable Transition Lengths).

3) Custom supports are needed for this model at the base (to prevent the bottom pink layer from peeling off the bed) and overhangs (such as the pink sides and back). To minimize difficulty in removing supports, choose low density supports (Project Settings>Supports>Support Density>Low). Opting for clear filament for the supports can also help reduce the appearance of marks left by supports.
