Face Shield

I designed this protective face shield from scratch to provide emergency protection for local medical workers and family/friends. I acknowledge that during this pandemic, there is a current global supply shortage; therefore, I hope that I can contribute to helping others by having my free face shields benefit all healthcare workers or anyone else that needs it. Currently, essential workers are finding that all of the PPE and masks they are wearing become a hassle when the protective gears start hurting their ears or leaving a mark on the surface of their skin. The elastic band used for the mask will not irritate the ear as it will be worn on the neck and above the ears.

To assemble the full face shield, you will need a clear plastic sheet, elastic band, string, and multi-purpose foam (or a sponge). Hold the plastic sheet horizontal.
