This is the first in a series of bases that i've made since I got the printer. Used to make these from cardboard, but the printed bases are soooo much better.
These are some photos of an almost-finished camp fence i'm just doing. I hope the blue PLA base is visible. The fence itself is made from coffee-stirrers for the front boards and 10mm x 3mm balsa for the backplanks.
The slot itself is 10mm long to keep scale and 2mm wide to give a secure push fit when you glue in the fence. The base is 102 long to help with a secure build, but I guess if you wanted to make them 'modular'-ish, you could take away the ends. The bases that I use are not meant to be 'modular', but more table-ready.
I am working on some angled sections so that you can build a complete camp, and using a simple pin/hole lineup so that you can interchange them properly.
As always, do what you like with these.
This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/bDZRIYtHLnc
