Fidget 3D Transformer Cube

The main feature of this fully printable transforming cube is the absence of mechanical hinges. They are replaced with flexible plastic. On layer change, I change the rigid PETG to TPEE, and then vice versa. This creates a simple hinge that can be printed in place. Both of these plastics are good at sintering and printing at the same temperature (I only slowed down slightly for TPEE).
I recently made the arms of the CHICK 3D printer with flexible joints, but maybe I should have started with a toy. After all, airplanes, rockets and many other objects were also just entertainment at first.
The cube is assembled by snapping the parts together, without glue.
The assembly is simple, the main thing is to follow the instructions.

Optionally, you can add a shallow emboss or a layer of contrasting color to the inserts and connectors to achieve image transitions.
