Instruction is provided for download.To play, slide thumb or index finger over the gator’s head bump. The upper jaw will rise and snap down on the lower jaw. I like the sound. I even tried to play in sync with the drumbeat of a song :). I can do it with either the left or the right hand now.The force of the snap depends on the speed of the finger sliding motion which affects the crispiness of the impact and sound. One can be good at it in no time, and the more one plays, the better one gets. I have found different ways to play it by holding it straight, or sideways, or at an angle, or upside down, and use different parts of the thumb or index finger to make crisp impact and sound.The model is about 7 inches
