Filament Filter - Simple - Split - Threaded

This is a simple filament filter/cleaner for removing dust and non-melting materials from the filament while printing to help reduce clogging.
It does not need to be put on the filament prior to threading into printer, it is designed to be placed on the filament after it is loaded.
The unit does not rely on snaps or friction to close, it threads shut.
It is also scaleable if needed.
It goes on in a single direction so that you do not accidentally put in on in reverse and allow previous materials built up to be deposited onto the filament. The function of threading on also compresses the foam to ensure a nice clean fit around the filament.
Using a small amount of oil with the foam helps reduce jamming of some filaments in the print head.
