Filament Spool Roller

This is a simple 100mm wide filament spool roller with 608ZZ bearings that replaces the narrower stock spool holder without bearings.

I needed a wider mount for larger 2.25kg spools. The centering spacers fit spool holder brackets with either a 30 or 31mm diameter hole. In my case are a Monoprice Maker Select (Wanhao Duplicator i3 clone) or a Creality CR-10 respectively. The 2.25kg spools require the "Small ID End Cap". Most 1kg spools will fit over the "Large ID End Cap". The end caps just snap on as designed as printed on my setup. I can't guaranty that will happen for you.

This design uses two 608zz bearings which are mounted on a 5/16" x ~6" or 8mm x ~150mm threaded rod and matching nuts and flat washers. I ended up using a standard flat washer instead of the "Short Bearing Spacer". My Lowes carries the 5/16" x 12" threaded rod for $1.68. Amazon has numerous 608ZZ bearing choices from less than 50 cents each.
