Filament Spool Storage Rack (Wall Mounted)

My school makerspace was having storage issues for the filament spools that sat alongside the 3d printer. They were taking up valuable counterspace, so I designed these wall mounts for the Dremel brand filament spools. If you know tinkercad, you can easily change the diameter or length of the rod to make it work for your brand of spools.

The wall mount has a recessed pocket for thick double sided foam tape, and I also created two countersunk holes to accept #8 size drywall screws. (Screws were needed as my first prototype without them did not stay on the wall when humidity built up inside the school over the weekends).

I created two stoppers for the two school logos we used. They are 1/4", so import your own logo at 1/4" thick, ungroup the current logos from the stoppers and replace it with yours!
