Designed in SolidWorks. The wing has 12 ribs, all the same size, using the MH60 airfoil, resulting in a rectangular planform. Rib spacing is 5 cm, with a rib thickness of 5 mm. Holes were placed between spars to reduce weight while maintaining strength. Wing length is 60.5 cm, and weight is 1.56 kg (Mass = 1.55551 kg). Materials include carbon fiber spars and 2024 aluminum alloy for both the ribs and the pushrod. A movable aileron with a simple pushrod linkage is included to visualize control surface actuation, though the mechanism is quite basic. This model was made as a personal learning project so any feedback or advice is welcome and highly appreciated!
