This is a solid rectangular block that has been shaped on its top surface to include two distinct features: On one side, there’s a semicircular (half-round) cutout, forming a smooth concave groove. This kind of feature is typically used to cradle or locate a cylindrical object. Moving across the top, the surface transitions into an inclined (sloped) face, rising toward a central peak. From that peak, the geometry forms a V-shaped or angled channel, created by two sloping planes meeting along a ridge. This helps guide or center round or angled parts. The remaining sides are mostly flat vertical faces, giving the part a stable base. Overall, it’s a machined fixture-style component designed to support, locate, or guide cylindrical or angled objects, combining a round seat and a V-groove in a single piece
