Fleshbound Communicators The Fleshbound Communicator is a body claimed by sacrament rather than breath. He stands enlarged and distorted, not exalted, but sustained by what should have annihilated him. His flesh bears the weight of consecration as stone bears a cathedral: cracked, burdened, yet uncollapsed. Every motion he makes is deliberate, as though the body itself must first ask permission to continue. Among the Pilgrims of the Blighted Devotion, he is remembered as one who was given more than a man is meant to contain. In the earliest days of their wandering, when relics were still divided and entrusted with trembling reverence, he was chosen to receive what remained after prayer was exhausted. His disease did not flee. It rearranged itself. Wounds closed only to preserve the vessel, not to spare it.
