FlightAware Box

I've tried a few boxes to hold my Raspberry PI FlightAware setup, but generally didn't like them, so I made my own. I'm using a PI 3b+ with POE hat and the FlightAware 1090 Mhz ADS-B dongle with built in filter. I wanted something to fit pretty tight but also allow a little room for air movement. The box includes a hole for power supply in case you're not using the POE hat. The dongle antenna connection sticks out far enough to accept a standard antenna cable.

There are two box versions - one with external mounting tabs and one without. There are also two lid versions, one with a raised logo and one with it recessed. I printed the lid with raised logo so I could change filament color for the logo layers.The lid is friction fit, but it fits snugly to the box and I haven't had any problems with the top falling off. Given the lip around the lid and the wide design of the venting holes on the box, I used supports while printing - your mileage may vary. Enjoy!
