Fluted Cup

Another OpenSCAD creation, composed of a number of vertical fingers made from a twisting extrusion of an ellipse, capped with a rim and base composed of a rotated ellipse.

OK, forget the math. I was playing around and hit on something that reminded me of a Grecian column. Playing with sizes and angles, I formed it into at first a bowl and then this cup. The OpenSCAD code is too much of a mess for the customizer, with lots of numbers that I kept adjusting to shape it just so. Feel free to tinker with the angles and sizes to make your own creation.
