Fluval Spec V Divider

UPDATED 4/21/21: Uploaded V2 that is slightly wider to account for expansion of glass when filled. Also adjusted slots so they are angled. It makes for a lot less (and shorter) encounters where the Bettas can see one another, hopefully reducing stress. I've since moved to another Spec-V with just a single divider.

I have a Spec V and liked it so much I bought another one. :) But while at the store my wife bought some more Bettas but they can't live together. I created this divider to split the tank in 3. Each section should be about 1.6 gal. I printed these out, taped them in place and used a small bead of clear aquarium silicone to hold them in place. Grabbed some PEX tubing and some fittings at the hardware store to extend the filter inflow to the other parts of the aquarium.

I put some Flora Max, a couple plants and some stones in each section. Will add the fish soon and transfer some Frogbit from my other tank so the fish have some overhead cover.
