The outer ring fits all coasters; it’s a press fit and quite tight. It holds the acrylic disk in place, so the glue part is optional. It’s not just fun to play with but also very functional as a coaster. It’s especially nice if you use glow-in-the-dark or color-change filament for an extra cool effect!
