Lately, I've been doing some more soldering and making prototype boards. So I decided to reuse some old parts and made this arduino powered fume extractor. I used a 120mm fan, and an Arduino Uno so I could add things to it in the future, like a rotary encoder to adjust fan speed on the fly, a neopixel strip to give better lighting, as well as a switch to turn the unit on/off. (I don't have any on hand at the moment, and things have been taking a long time to ship.) For now though, I've only implemented the arduino and fan into the build.

The Uno is locked in place with the fan seated above it, and the fan is secured with two zip ties for ease of installation. After that, place some rubber bumpers on the bottom, plug in the 12v barrel jack, and you're off to the races.
