this is a model i finished a long time ago, but kept failing during larger print attempts. the problem is that most models from 'The Eminence in shadow' have very heavy hair -- the hair itself could be a completely separate character resin-wise. of course i realized this after the latest fail which didn't fail by detaching from supports, but due to supports anchored between her hair and butt. this is a fundamental flaw with 'bottom-up' resin printers using FEP as a print surface.
you can definitely print this model, but separate the hair at her shoulders and print it separately. this is also why i avoid printing skirts on most models, because the 'webbing' obstructs support propagation. for this reason the model will remain WIP, because there's really nothing more i can do from a design perspective. my FEP is also way past 100,000 layers, but i don't think that is the root cause of the problem.
