Simple Gate Latch(no AI was used in the making of this design or description below) Updates:23/12/2025 - Have beefed up the walls, filleted sharp corners and added an ergonomic finger loop to the D-ring. 24/12/2025 - Minor tweak to pin tolerances. 20/01/2026 - Made the smaller pin and associated holes beefier to better handle shearing stress. This is a very simple garden gate latch that's easy to print, easy to install, and easy to use. It is self locking, and to open you simply lift the D-ring as per the gif below.Print InstructionsPrint in PETG or any other material suitable for outdoor use.
