A little light under the extruder often helps with getting the first layers down properly. This very simple light bar requires 3 of those 12V sticky back LEDs that can be bought on a roll, from Amazon and other online sellers. I used cable ties to support the wire along a Bowden tube and the battery sits on top of the PSU with double sided tape for a fixing ( all very simple )

I decided to power it from a battery as it ill last a very long time, and saves tinkering with the printers electronics, You can add a switch if required but I simply disconnect the battery once I'm happy the print has started off well
