General for Panel Loop feed

In a loop feed transformer, the "general panel" refers to the compartmentalized enclosure that houses both the high-voltage (HV) primary and low-voltage (LV) secondary sections. Unlike radial units, a loop feed panel is designed to allow power to "loop" through the unit to the next transformer in a series, or to receive power from two separate sources for redundancy.
