Generic Box

This a simple box with a lid that snaps on. I use this box to make more complex boxes for simple electronic projects.

The box is designed using FreeCAD. And the FreeCAD model is more important than these two STL files. Using the FreeCAD model you can make a box of any size by specifying the InnerWidth, InnerDepth and InnerHeight of the box.

After opening the FreeCAD model you can double click on the spreadsheet named Var. Here you can change the parameters that make up the model. Most variable names should speak for themselves.

* Gap is the tolerance. It is the distance kept between the lid and box where the are put together.
* Pip are the small bumps on the lid that snaps it onto the box.
