Gladius

I wanted to try my hand at adapting something technically made for miniatures into something more life size. The original model is linked here so you can see where I started: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-roman-gladius-legionary-sword-129030 I scaled it up about 1000% and therefore had to cut the blade in three. To make sure the blade came together with ease I made a long square rod to not only align but also give the blade some strength. Only one part has a filament change (hilt/blade). Also, I used PLA-CF for the handle purely because I liked the color more than other red I had. I hope you enjoy it . If you decide to print it, please feel free to show your color choices with a pic.
