GPS Module Protective Mount

Universal GPS Module Mount Designed to hold Large GPS Modules. Great for Drones and RC Cars etc. Is Designed to Keep the Module safe in the event of a crash. Its a trade off to keep the protector light and "airy" so that the module will still have good GPS Sensitivity. How Thin and Unencompasing Can you make something that still keeps the Electronics safe? :D

Whats funny is the GPS Housing the Module came out of was very thick, but it had weird Channels . Should prolly look up GPS Antenna Design while im at it :)

Either way the mount seems to work well so far, Flying it on a QAV180, It gets a lock in about 30 seconds give or take? The particular module im using has a 25x25mm antenna on top of a UBLOX module that was pulled from a TaoTronics Dash Cam GPS Module. I dunno if its cheaper to buy modules this way, but im a big fan of harvesting modules from cheap electronics :) Only bad part is you are kind of guessing the BAUD.
