Grid Guard

A 3D printable grid guard for 10l buckets. This guard sits in the bottom of the bucket and allows the grit from washing your car to pass through and collect at the bottom. not allowing your sponge/cloth/mitt to come in contact with the grit at the bottom of the bucket minimizes the risk to your paint finish from grit on the wash sponge/cloth/mitt. I use this when washing my car using the 'two bucket' method. If you only use one then the grid guard goes in the rinse bucket.

Many files are included, to print the full guard you should choose the file named 'complete' that matches the coin you wish to use as weight.

As PLA and ABS both float this grit guard has built in spaces to take coins, these coins provide the required weight to keep the guard at the bottom of the bucket.

Included is the guard in two version, one accepts British 2p coins the other takes euro 5cent and us nickels. I have also released the CAD for the base and the coin holders so they can be easily modified.
