This is a simple half tube solargraph, that I made for my friend.
Designed an easy to mount design, with flat back surface and fixing holes for self-locking nylon cable ties or Hilti ribbon.
This is the first version of the solargraph, I will make another one in the future with mounting holes for wood screws. Also, there will be another one as well with 2,0mm wall thickness.
Dimensions:
Diameter (of the tube): 60 mm
Height: 100 mm
Focal point distance from outer wall: 29 mm (with ~0,244mm hole)
Wall thickness: 1,5 mm
Photosensitive paper used: Fomaspeed N311
Paper dimensions: 86 x 92 mm
I made two versions of bottom covers. One simple press-fit cover, and one with groove for sealing gasket.
For sealing, I used a simple rubber belt that suitable for repairing old cassette decks.
With light pressure, the gasket equipped cover slides in, and keeps moisture out.
Feel free to use it, I hope this will work as good as it worked for us.
