So I guess most of the people are working with what they have laying around. So did I. pobably this is the 999th heat set press ;). I basically looked what I have and stole ideas from existing solutions. Only things I did a bit different are the following:Working with a heavy base so no support to the front is needed and theres more space for parts.With 132,5 mm from base to soldering iron this is a pretty long arm compared to existing solutions. This is more than enough for all the parts coming from a 256mm bed. (Bambulab people can be happy). If this is necessary… well decide for yourself Unfortunately my linear rails have mgn12c carriages.. but this is the reason this project started, because I had to modify something in the first place.
